Former Big Brother Naija housemate Olawunmi Adenibuyan, widely known as Bam Bam or ‘Achalugo’, has continued to command attention on screen with actor Uzor Arukwe, fondly called ‘Odogwu Paranran’ by fans.
The pair recently headlined the romantic drama Without You, released just before Valentine’s Day. In the film, they portray lovers navigating heartbreak, distance and emotional rediscovery. Scenes from the project, along with behind-the-scenes clips, quickly made the rounds online, reigniting conversations about Bam Bam’s personal life.
While many viewers have applauded the duo’s professionalism and compelling on-screen chemistry, others have questioned the timing of the collaboration, given reports of marital strain between Bam Bam and her husband, Teddy A.
Their chemistry first drew public admiration in Love in Every Word, a drama produced by Omoni Oboli, where their performances sparked early praise.
Speculation surrounding Bam Bam’s marriage intensified in December after she and Teddy A appeared separately in photo shoots. Online observers later noted that the couple no longer follow each other on Instagram, fuelling rumours of tension. On Valentine’s Day, Teddy A shared solo photographs holding a red rose, accompanied by a cryptic caption that further stirred debate.
Arukwe, however, has dismissed attempts to drag him into the controversy. Responding to a fan who advised him to avoid working with Bam Bam until her marital issues were resolved, he retorted, “That’s why you’re not me,” and cautioned against baseless accusations, making it clear he would not be blamed for speculation surrounding the couple.
Recall that Bam Bam and Teddy A met during the 2018 edition of Big Brother Naija and married in Dubai in 2019. Since then, their relationship frequently shared with fans has been closely watched.
