Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has officially commissioned IRẸLẸ Towers, a new commercial building at the Lagos Free Zone, located at KM 45 along the Lekki-Epe Expressway.
The name IRẸLẸ, meaning humility in Yoruba, reflects the organisation’s values and its respect for Lagos State’s local culture and language.
Designed as an EDGE-certified green building, IRẸLẸ Towers incorporates sustainable features that enhance energy efficiency, water efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and material usage, positioning it as a benchmark for environmentally friendly commercial spaces in Nigeria.
In addition to its sustainability credentials, the building provides flexible workspaces suited for remote employees, freelancers, gig workers, and consultants, making it ideal for immediate and short-term work needs.
The commissioning marks a significant milestone in Lagos’ ongoing effort to develop modern, environmentally conscious commercial infrastructure while supporting diverse working arrangements.
