President Bola Tinubu has said that the government’s concerted efforts to tackle insecurity are beginning to yield results.
In a statement marking the Easter celebrations, Tinubu noted that the season serves as a reminder of sacrifice, resilience, and the triumph of light over darkness.
He acknowledged that, despite the dedication and sacrifices of the Armed Forces and other security agencies, challenges to national security persist.
However, the President said his administration is providing the necessary resources and strengthening international partnerships to enable security agencies to deliver decisive blows against terrorists.
During his condolence visit to Jos, Plateau State, security chiefs reportedly gave strong assurances of progress, while international support was mobilised to reinforce Nigeria’s response to insecurity.
Tinubu assured Nigerians of a safer and more secure nation, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to tackling terrorism, banditry, and other security threats.
The Easter message comes hours after his visit to Jos, where he met families affected by a deadly attack that left at least 28 people dead and many others injured.
