A non-governmental organization, The Old Catholic International Missionary Society of St. Christopher & Caritas Sustainable Development Foundation (TOCIMS), has officially launched its Ekiti State branch.
The organization, described as a solution and help center, is an arm of the Old Catholic Church established to provide support for individuals in need, while also creating an avenue for well-meaning individuals to offer assistance.

Speaking at a press conference in Ado-Ekiti as part of activities marking the launch, the Convener and Chief Missioner, Bishop Oluwaseun Fagbohun, explained that the TOCIMS Food Bank and Charity Store is designed to provide varying degrees of support to deserving individuals.
According to him, the organization is partnering with support groups such as The Righteous People’s Movement (TRIPOM), a righteousness advocacy group, to deliver financial, physical, psychological, and spiritual assistance. He added that the initiative also welcomes contributions from volunteers and donors.
Bishop Fagbohun described the support hub as a system similar to a bank, where people can “deposit” support and others can “withdraw” help when needed. He further revealed that an emotional healing workshop is the next programme lined up by the organization.
Headquartered at the Ado-Ekiti Bus Terminal, the newly launched branch adds to TOCIMS’ growing presence across states including Abuja, Benue, and Kogi.
The initiative is expected to strengthen community support systems and provide hope for vulnerable individuals across Ekiti State.
