Social media comedian Carter Efe delivered a dominant performance on Friday night to defeat street-hop artiste Portable in a celebrity boxing bout at the Chaos in the Ring 4 event in Lagos.
The fight, held at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, saw Efe outclass his opponent over three rounds, earning a unanimous decision victory. All three judges scored the contest 30-27 in his favour.
The result was Portable’s first loss in celebrity boxing, ending his unbeaten run after previous victories over Charles Okocha and Speed Darlington, which had earned him two belts.
Ahead of the bout, Portable had expressed confidence in extending his winning streak, boasting that he would claim a third title. However, Efe remained unfazed, promising a decisive outcome.
Inside the ring, the comedian lived up to expectations. Portable started aggressively, throwing a flurry of wild punches in the opening round, but Efe maintained composure, absorbing the pressure and responding with precise counterattacks.
However, as the fight progressed, Efe’s technical edge became more evident. He landed clean uppercuts and body shots, while Portable struggled to connect effectively despite maintaining his high-energy approach.
The pattern continued into the final round, with Efe dictating the pace and landing the more telling blows before the bell, sealing a convincing win.
