Phoenix Athletics Sports Limited, the managers of the Prof. Akin Oyebode Cup have announced that the Organizing Committee Head, Mr. Pelumi Abiara, will embark on a familiarization and consultation tour to all 16 Local Government Areas of Ekiti State ahead of the 5th edition of the tournament.
The visit, which is expected to commence today, is aimed at engaging directly with football stakeholders in each local government.
Pelumi Abiara will hold meetings with the football heads and officials of the Local Football Councils to deliberate on key issues, strengthen collaboration, and ensure smooth preparation for the upcoming edition.
This wide-ranging tour is to show the organizers’ commitment to grassroots inclusivity, proper planning, and building stronger relationships with all participating local governments under the tournament’s theme, “Building to Last.”
