Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, in a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal.
The couple tied the knot on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in an intimate ceremony attended by their five children, according to a statement released after the wedding.
Ronaldo, 41, and Rodríguez, 32, have been together since 2017 and announced their engagement in August 2025.
The Portuguese footballer marked the occasion on social media by sharing a photograph of the couple’s hands displaying their wedding rings. He captioned the image simply: “C❤️G.”
Ronaldo and Rodríguez’s relationship began after they met in 2017, when Rodríguez was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store.
The couple made their first public appearance together at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich in January 2017 before Ronaldo confirmed their relationship on Instagram several months later.
They have since built a family together, welcoming daughters Alana and Bella, as well as twins Eva Maria and Mateo. Ronaldo is also father to 16-year-old Cristiano Jr., from a previous relationship.
Their relationship has remained one of the most closely followed celebrity romances in the world, with the couple frequently sharing glimpses of their family life with millions of fans.
The ceremony in Cascais was deliberately kept private, with the presence of their children underscoring the family-focused nature of the occasion.
