The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the release of results of all underage candidates who participated in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for viewing, in line with its established policy for candidates below the prescribed admission age.
The Board, explained that the results were made available primarily to enable the candidates and their parents or guardians to know how they performed in the examination noting that the results cannot be used for admission or any other official purpose.
except in respect of candidates who satisfy the stringent requirements prescribed for exceptionally performing underage candidates.
The Board reiterated that the exceptional admission process is deliberately rigorous and involves multiple stages of assessment to ensure that only candidates who demonstrate the required academic maturity and exceptional ability are considered.
It urged candidates to send RESULT to 55019 or 66019 to view the result using the same SIM(phone) used in registering for the UTME.
