The African Democratic Congress, ADC, candidate for Ekiti North Senatorial District, Prince Dr. Funsho Ayeni, has called on Nigerians to educate themselves and participate actively in the democratic process ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ayeni made the call today while featuring on “Datiemo on Air” on Adamimogo 107.7fm, Ido-Ekiti where he said he and his supporters would reach out to parents and other members of the community to educate them on the need for political participation and change.
The ADC candidate said Nigerians should assess the performance of the current administration based on what they have experienced so far, rather than being persuaded by promises close to the election stressing that democracy requires citizens to participate and make informed decisions.
Ayeni who also expressed confidence in the ADC’s prospects in the 2027 elections, describing it as a new political platform that, according to him, is prepared to win urged Nigerians to come out and participate in the democratic process.
