Harry Kane marked his record-equalling 125th England appearance with two goals as England defeated the Czech Republic 3-0 at Wembley.
The victory moved Thomas Tuchel’s side closer to qualification for the Nations League quarter-finals, with Kane taking his international goals tally to 91.
England took the lead in the 27th minute when Czech defender Vladimir Coufal inadvertently turned Kane’s cross into his own net.
Kane doubled England’s advantage five minutes before half-time, finishing a sweeping move after Elliot Anderson played a first-time pass to Morgan Rogers, who delivered the ball into the striker’s path.
The Bayern Munich forward came close to adding another early in the second half when his effort clipped the crossbar.
However, he completed his brace in the 57th minute, heading home Lewis Hall’s corner at the back post to send the Wembley crowd into celebration.
Kane was eventually substituted with less than 10 minutes remaining and received a standing ovation from the home supporters.
The result leaves England on nine points from four matches, three points behind leaders Spain in Group A3 and six points ahead of Croatia.
With two matches remaining, England are well placed to secure a top-two finish and advance to the Nations League quarter-finals in March.

Speaking after the match, Kane described the evening as a proud moment and said it was important for England to finish the international window with a strong performance at Wembley.
“It was the perfect night for me personally and also the team,” Kane said.
The 33-year-old captain also matched Peter Shilton’s record of 125 England appearances, 11 years after scoring 79 seconds into his international debut.
