The group is with the belief that a strong and credible media ecosystem is vital for the progress of any society, and that Ibadan, with its rich history as a hub of media innovation in Nigeria, can once again set the standard for the nation.
Through this initiative, Media Transformative Group intends to provide continuous professional development opportunities for journalists, broadcasters, and digital media practitioners in the city. This will include a series of intensive training programmes, capacity-building workshops, and peer-to-peer review sessions that will equip media professionals with the tools, knowledge, and confidence required to meet the highest global standards.

We believe that when the media grows, society grows.”
The Group will begin rolling out its programmes in the coming months, with the first phase focusing on stakeholder engagement, training sessions, mentorship opportunities for young media professionals.
