Ibadan-based radio station Adamimogo 105.1FM has celebrated two years of broadcasting, as attained a new milestone since it first went on air on February 15, 2024.
Located in the Oremeji-Mokola area of Ibadan, the station was commissioned by top government officials after it was established by the Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, Founder of Christ Apostolic Church Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain International Ministry, popularly known as Adamimogo.
Since its launch, the station has offered a wide range of programmes catering to a diverse and growing audience, with a vision to expand its reach and strengthen its role in the socio-political and cultural landscape of Oyo State.
Speaking on the 2 years anniversary, the General Manager, Joshua Adegbite, popularly known as “Big Josh,” congratulated the founder, board, management and staff for their dedication and resilience over the past two years.
“Like a seed planted in faith and watered with sacrifice, we have watched this vision push through the soil, withstand the storms, and stretch its leaves toward the sky,” he said.
He acknowledged that the journey had not been without challenges but expressed gratitude for what he described as divine sustenance.
“Two years ago, this station was a dream wrapped in faith. The winds have blown, the tides have risen, and the journey has not been without its tests. Yet, by the grace of God, our ship has not drowned, it has sailed on,” he added.
Adegbite paid special tribute to Prophet Olu-Alo for his vision and commitment in establishing the station, praying for continued growth and expansion of the ministry’s outreach.
He also commended the station’s Board, led by Elder Afolabi Imoukhuede, for its guidance and steadfast support, as well as the Group Chief Operating Officer, Mr Babatunde Bamgboye, for his leadership and operational drive.
As Adamimogo 105.1FM enters its third year, management reaffirmed its commitment to quality broadcasting and community engagement across Ibadan and beyond.
