Adamimogo 105.1 FM broadcaster, Olaide Lateef, popularly known as Omo Iya Oyo, has been recognised with an award for her exemplary contribution to youth development and media excellence.
The honour was bestowed by the Ray Unit Association, Elekuro, Ibadan, as part of activities marking the 2025 International Youth Day celebration.
In presenting the award, the association described Omo Iya Oyo as “a role model to the youthful population,” noting that her impact, dedication, and cultural advocacy have significantly advanced youth development in Oyo State and beyond.
Reacting to the honour, the General Manager of Adamimogo 105.1 FM, Joshua Adegbite, congratulated the broadcaster, describing the award as well-deserved. He said the recognition was further proof of the station’s creed as a “poster frame of journalism” and its commitment to nurturing staff excellence.
