The All Progressives Congress (APC) has condemned the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for making what it described as immature and unfounded accusations” regarding a recent shooting incident involving ADC members in Edo State.
The ADC, in a statement released yesterday, alleged APC involvement in the attack on some of its supporters, including an attempted assassination targeting former presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Responding, APC National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka described the claim as reckless, stressing that the APC had no involvement in the shooting and remains focused on consolidating recent electoral victories in the Federal Capital Territory.
Morka condemned all forms of political violence and called for a thorough investigation into the Edo incident, while also suggesting that internal conflicts and violent factional struggles within the ADC deserve scrutiny.
He urged the ADC to reflect on its electoral setbacks instead of making baseless allegations.
The APC spokesman reaffirmed the party’s commitment to national progress under President Bola Tinubu and expressed gratitude for growing public support.
