It was with a vibrant blend of praise, prayers, and pure joy filled the air as dignitaries, clergy, friends, and well-wishers gathered for the grand opening and dedication of Asake Hall, a 200-capacity, state-of-the-art multipurpose event space nestled within the serene premises of the renowned Daylan Event Center, Gbaremu Bus Stop, along Sango/Poly Road, Ibadan.
The glittering event, marked by deep emotions and high celebration, was more than just an unveiling; it was an All-in-one celebration: the dedication of the new hall, the birthday celebration of Mrs. Olutayo Abosede Asake Adisa, and a powerful reminder of the unity, vision, and enduring love between her and her husband, Dr. Bolaji Adisa, the Proprietor of Daylan and Asake Hall.
While the Daylan Event Center, opened in 2019 and capable of hosting over 3,000 guests, remains one of the largest in Oyo State, Asake Hall was born out of the need for a more intimate, refined alternative.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Bolaji Adisa shared the inspiration behind the hall’s conception:
“Many of our clients desired a smaller yet equally luxurious setting for their events, something cozy, elegant, but still grand. That’s how Asake Hall was born. And what better name than to dedicate it to the woman who is my strength, my inspiration, my everything, my wife, Olutayo Abosede Asake Adisa.”
Describing her as his pillar, prayer warrior, best friend, co-visionary, and the soul of their family’s legacy, Dr. Adisa’s tribute moved many to tears as he honored the woman who has stood by him through every season of their journey.
The dedication of Asake Hall was officiated by the revered Prophet Sam Olu Alo, the planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Grace of Mercy, Adamimogo, who led the spiritual consecration and showered the hall with blessings, declaring it a place of joy, divine encounters, and prosperity for all who will celebrate within its walls.
Also gracing the event was elder statesman and the Aare Mayegun of Ibadanland, Chief Bayo Oyero, who not only performed the official ribbon-cutting but also reflected on the enduring love between the Adisas:
“I was here in 2019 when DayLan Event Center opened, and to be here again for Asake Hall is an honor. Their love is pure, their partnership admirable, and this new hall is a physical expression of that unity.”
The day also marked the birthday celebration of Mrs. Olutayo Abosede Asake Adisa, a devoted wife, mother, and spiritual leader, whose work with the Daylan Praise Family ministry has touched countless lives.
In a stirring tribute, Bishop John Oni, Life Patron of the Daylan Praise Family, explored her character:
“She is a woman clothed in dignity, humility, and divine purpose. Her passion for God, her love for family, and her commitment to service have made her not just a mother in her home but too many in the faith community.”
Asake Hall is more than just a venue; it is a legacy of love, vision, and excellence, created not just for Ibadan but for generations to come. It is a reminder that behind every great achievement is a story of partnership, passion, and purpose.
As the celebrations came to a close, the couple stood hand in hand, surrounded by family and friends, basking not just in the glow of lights but in the love that built it all.
