The winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, is ready to establish a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) dedicated to supporting and empowering the girl child.
Speaking in Lagos shortly after receiving an additional N2 million cheque from BetKing — a reward for a task she won while in the BBNaija house, Imisi described the gesture as both “overwhelming and inspiring.”
The reality star expressed deep gratitude for her Big Brother Naija experience and the opportunities it has brought her, saying the journey had reignited her passion for social impact.
“I am overwhelmed, happy, and grateful. I feel good seeing everything working in my favour,” she said.
Imisi revealed that her challenging childhood played a major role in shaping her desire to create a safe and supportive platform for young girls facing similar struggles.
“As a lady, I know what it was like growing up. For me, I would like to do something meaningful for the girl child, maybe a foundation because that has always been my desire,” she added.
The reality TV star noted that her planned foundation would focus on empowering young girls through education, mentorship, and access to basic opportunities that can help them realise their potential.
She maintained that her experience in the BBNaija house taught her resilience and the value of self-belief, lessons she hopes to pass on through her upcoming initiative.
Fans and supporters have since lauded her announcement, describing it as a commendable step towards giving back to society and using her newfound fame for a positive cause.
