An atmosphere of gratitude and celebration filled the auditorium of Christ Apostolic Church Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain, Adamimogo Grace Assembly, Ibadan, as members, invited guests and religious leaders gathered to commemorate the church’s first anniversary.
The special thanksgiving service featured vibrant praise and worship sessions, testimonies and reflections on the ministry’s journey since its inauguration a year ago.
Speaking with journalists, the General Overseer of the ministry, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, expressed appreciation to God for what he described as remarkable growth within just 12 months. Represented at the event by the Zonal Evangelist Odunayo Asonibare, the cleric characterised the milestone as “a testimony of God’s faithfulness” and declared continued expansion and impact for the church.
He also delivered a charge for the second year, describing it as a season of consolidation, deeper spiritual influence and broader community outreach.
The pastor in charge, Evangelist Enoch Adegboyega, highlighted the church’s achievements over the past year, noting steady membership growth and strengthened programmes. He commended Prophet Alo for his leadership and vision, which he said had been instrumental in the assembly’s development.
Congregants, including Temitope Alao and Pius Ajewole, described the anniversary as a reminder of how far the church has come in a short period. They expressed optimism that the foundation laid in the first year would propel the ministry to even greater heights.
The celebration concluded with special prayers for the church’s continued growth, its leadership and the surrounding community.
