Controversial street-pop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly declared his admiration for President Bola Tinubu, calling him the best leader Nigeria has ever produced.
In a viral Instagram video shared on Monday, Portable praised Tinubu for what he described as unprecedented progress in Nigeria under the current administration.
Unfazed by the backlash from fellow entertainers and the wider public, Portable doubled down on his support, insisting that real development in Nigeria only began with the Tinubu presidency.
“Since I was born and Nigeria has existed, people say ‘Nigeria will get better’. Nigeria only gets better under the Tinubu administration,” the singer said in the video. “It is President Bola Tinubu who makes the country great. He is the best president Nigeria ever had, though I don’t know how future presidents will perform, but he is the best we ever had.”
