A former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has congratulated his mentee, Asiwaju Oladimeji, for earning a Master of Science degree in Conflict, Peace, and Strategic Studies from Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), with a perfect 5.0 cumulative grade point average.
Oladimeji, a geospatial technology expert and sickle cell awareness advocate, achieved straight As in all 14 courses undertaken during his postgraduate programme.
His exceptional performance earned him the Founder’s Award for Deserving Students at ABUAD’s recent convocation ceremony, where he also revealed plans to pursue a PhD.
Celebrating his achievement, Oladimeji wrote on X:
“M.Sc Conflict, Peace and Strategic Studies. 14 Courses! 14 As! 5.0 Final CGPA! Founder’s Award for Deserving Students! PhD (in view)! All thanks be to God. #Convocation #ABUAD.”
Reacting to the feat, Fayemi, a former minister, praised Oladimeji’s discipline and commitment to academic excellence, describing his success as a testament to Ekiti State’s enduring intellectual culture.
