The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has once again shared his personal vision of how he believes he will die, peacefully, without sickness, after a Sunday church service and a plate of pounded yam.
Speaking on the fourth day of RCCG’s 2025 International Convention, themed The Overcomers, the revered cleric said his death would not be preceded by suffering or a long illness.
“I will die on a Sunday after attending service, eat my beloved pounded yam, and then pass on without any sickness,” Adeboye stated.
He clarified that this was not the first time he was revealing this vision. According to him, he first shared it two years ago, but felt led to repeat it to reassure Christians that death does not have to be painful or tragic.
“For those in Christ, death can come like sleep, no struggle, no sickness, just peace,” he said.
