Popular Nollywood actor and event planner, Jide Adegbite, fondly known as “Miliki Daddy,” has been ordained as a Special Apostle in the Cherubim & Seraphim (C&S) Movement Church.
The ordination ceremony, held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Galilee, drew dignitaries from across the country, including spiritual leaders and members of the C&S Movement, who described Adegbite as a devoted believer committed to the growth of God’s kingdom.
Adegbite was promoted from Most Senior Apostle to Special Apostle in recognition of his active participation and notable contributions to the church. He was ordained alongside Elder Hon. Olajide Olugbade and several other members of the C&S church worldwide.
Also during the event, the leader in charge of the C&S Church Movement Headquarters, Ibadan District, Special Apostle Adeleye Adekunle, was elevated to the rank of Senior Special Apostle.
The ceremony was attended by His Most Eminence Prophet (Dr) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo (JP) FNACM, DDM, the Supreme Head of the Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria and Spiritual Father and Chairman of the C&S Movement Worldwide (Ayo Ni O).
Adegbite, who hails from a distinguished lineage of C&S leaders, expressed gratitude to God and his supporters following his ordination. His grandfather, Most Snr. Special Apostle Dr. Josiah Aderoju Adegbite (GCP), founded the C&S Church Movement in the former Western Region of Nigeria, while his father, Most Snr. Special Apostle Dr. (PhD) Joseph Adebowale Adegbite, currently serves as the Chairman of the C&S Church Movement, Ibadan District, having been ordained in August 2021.
Speaking with journalists, Adegbite said the ordination was both an honour and a call to greater service.
“I thank God for the privilege to serve and contribute positively in His vineyard,” he said. “This ordination will spur me to do more for the work of the kingdom.”
The actor also appreciated his fans, family, and well-wishers for their love and support before, during, and after the ceremony, urging them to “always support kingdom work at all times.”
Known for his versatility in entertainment and deep-rooted spirituality, Miliki Daddy’s rising influence in both the secular and religious spheres continues to earn him admiration from fans and church members alike.
