Nigeria’s Ports Authority says at least 32 vessels carrying fuel, food and other cargoes are due to arrive in Lagos between January 12 and January 30.
In its daily shipping update, the Nigerian Ports Authority said the ships will berth at Apapa, Tin Can Island and the Lekki Deep Sea Port.
The vessels are expected to deliver crude oil, aviation fuel, refined petroleum products, containers, bulk fertiliser, wheat, urea, bitumen and general cargo.
The authority said 10 ships and tankers have already arrived and are waiting to berth. They are carrying diesel, petrol, crude oil, wheat, fresh fish, containers and salt.
Another 31 vessels are currently discharging cargo across the three ports, including fertiliser, diesel, liquefied gas, soya beans and containerised goods.
The NPA said port operations remain stable, with measures in place to ensure smooth cargo handling and movement.
