The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has called on residents of Ibadan to embrace peaceful coexistence as a guiding principle for communal growth and harmony.
Oba Ladoja made the appeal during a meeting with the Council of Traditional Baales in Ibadanland, held at the Olubadan Palace, Oke-Aremo, on Wednesday.
In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Gbenga Ayoade, on Thursday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, the monarch stressed the importance of unity and cooperation among the people of Ibadan and beyond.
Represented at the meeting by the Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Akeem Adewoyin, Ladoja urged traditional leaders and residents alike to work together in preserving the city’s legacy of peace and progress.
He also requested continued prayers and unwavering support from all stakeholders to ensure the advancement of Ibadan and Oyo State at large.
