The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will on Friday hold a major stakeholders’ summit aimed at consolidating internal reconciliation and strengthening the party’s position ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement released by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, the meeting will bring together key figures including former deputy governors, serving and former National Assembly members, ministers, and federal appointees from the state. The summit is facilitated by the Renewed Hope Ambassadors of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Scheduled to hold at the APC state secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, by 10 a.m., the gathering comes less than two months after a successful leadership summit praised by stakeholders across and beyond the state.
Sadare noted that the current leadership under State Chairman Alhaji Olayide Abas has enjoyed broad support in efforts to build a more cohesive and formidable party.
The meeting is expected to fine-tune ongoing reconciliation initiatives and outline a unified strategy to position the APC strongly for the 2027 polls.
