The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth League has thrown its weight behind President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, pledging loyalty to his Renewed Hope Agenda.
The declaration came during a Loyalty Walk held in Ibadan on Saturday, which saw hundreds of young APC supporters from the state’s 33 local government areas storm the streets in a colourful show of solidarity.
Led by the state coordinator, Ayobami Dagilogba, the walk transformed major roads in the state capital into a rally ground, with chants and banners affirming confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership and the future of the APC.
Dagilogba described the event as “a resounding message of commitment” to the president’s vision and an indication of the readiness of young party members to ensure APC’s victory in 2027.
“This walk is more than a rally. It is a declaration of faith in the Renewed Hope vision of the president and our resolve to consolidate its gains in Oyo State and beyond. By the grace of Almighty God, we are confident that APC will achieve total victory in 2027,” he said.
The youth league’s endorsement is seen as part of wider efforts within the APC to mobilise grassroots support and strengthen the party’s structures across the Southwest in preparation for the next elections.
