The Organizing Committee of the prestigious Prof. Akin Oyebode Cup 2025 has announced a rescheduling of the semi-final matches which was originally slated for Thursday, April 16, 2026. The semi-final fixtures will now take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the designated venue.
According to a statement by the Organizing Committee, this adjustment has been made to allow for maximum support for the state darling team, Ekiti United FC that is having a rescheduled Nigeria National League (NNL) match on the same date.
