Prophet Sam Olu Alo, founder of Grace and Mercy Prayer Mountain, has donated Hilux vehicles and motorcycles to security agencies operating in Ido/Osi Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
The presentation was made on Wednesday at the palace of the Olojudo of Ido Ekiti, Oba Captain Ayorinde Ilori Faboro, and was witnessed by traditional rulers from across the council area, as well as representatives of various security outfits.
Through his Sam Olu Alo Foundation, the cleric called on security agencies to accept the donations “with gratitude” and to intensify efforts to secure the area. He also urged traditional rulers to foster unity and collaboration to attract more development opportunities.
Prophet Alo stressed the need for religious tolerance and interfaith cooperation for the progress of Ekiti and Nigeria at large, while appealing to the government to improve welfare packages for security personnel.
He also clarified that the donations were motivated by a genuine concern for public safety, not political interest, and promised even greater support next year, including three additional vehicles.
In his response, Oba Faboro commended Prophet Alo and his foundation for their consistent commitment to tackling security challenges in the region.
Security agencies present included the Nigeria Police Force, Federal Road Safety Corps, Amotekun Corps, local vigilantes, and hunters’ associations, all of whom received the items amid appreciation and applause.
