In a departure from his annual tradition, the Planter of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, has welcomed the new year on a historic pilgrimage to Jordan, citing a direct divine instruction received in a vision.
The cleric, speaking to journalists at holy sites in Jordan alongside a group of pilgrims, revealed that the journey was a sudden act of obedience rather than a planned event.
“Two months ago, I had not given any thought to where I would be at this time,” Prophet Olu-Alo stated. “However, in a vision, I saw a hill of warriors, and I saw myself praying there. As I prayed, I heard the voice of the Lord instructing me to leave my country for a place of empowerment.”
He explained that the instruction was a personal covenant, clarifying that while mountains are universally powerful sites for prayer, he moves only “as the Lord leads me.” The trip was organized at short notice, in the eleventh month of last year, which the Prophet said explains the relatively modest number of accompanying pilgrims.
During the interview, the Prophet was seen wearing a traditional Jordanian garment around his neck. He explained it was a ceremonial gift and a “sign of love” from his hosts, who honoured him as a chief upon his arrival at the airport.
When asked for a prophetic word for Nigeria in the new year, Prophet Olu-Alo directed the public to earlier broadcasts, stating that prophecies had already been delivered to pastors praying on various mountains in Nigeria. He expressed faith in God’s intervention and miracles for the nation.
Addressing Nigeria’s pressing security challenges, the Prophet offered a spiritual prescription: unconditional love.
“In times like these, when ravages get very intense, it is a sign that the war is gradually being reduced,” he said, reflecting on his earlier crossover service message. “If citizens of this country truly love one another, it will be very difficult for perpetrators of evil to find their way, and order will be restored.”
He concluded that allowing love to reign would be the key to a joyful and prosperous year for Nigeria.
