Residents and commuters are advised to plan ahead for significant traffic disruptions this Wednesday, January 28th, due to a carnival event celebrating Oyo at 50

Organizers of the Oyo at 50 event issued a formal advisory, warning that congestion and delays are anticipated starting from 12:00 p.m. noon in several central locations.

The areas expected to be most affected include:

– Mapo Hall and its immediate surroundings

– Oja Oba market district

– The Molete under-bridge corridor

– Oke Ado

– The bustling Dugbe commercial hub

– Adamasingba

Motorists are strongly encouraged to avoid these zones if possible during the afternoon and evening hours. Alternative routes should be sought to prevent being caught in expected gridlock.

Further updates on traffic flow will be provided as the situation develops.
