The Yoruba Council Worldwide (Ìgbìmọ̀ Apapọ Ọmọ Yorùbá Lágbàáyé) has officially announced the appointment of Mr. Charles Adeyemi as its new Publicity Secretary and Spokesperson.
In a statement signed by the Council’s President, Aare (Barr.) Oladotun Hassan, Esq., the group emphasized that Adeyemi’s appointment reflects the organization’s commitment to strengthening its media engagement and promoting the cultural, political, and socio-economic advancement of the Yoruba people globally.
According to the statement, Adeyemi was selected based on his “proven capacity in public communications, development advocacy, and cultural strategy.” He will now serve as the official voice of the Council on all matters relating to media and public discourse.
“In this capacity, Mr. Adeyemi is fully empowered to speak on behalf of the Council, issue press releases, respond to inquiries, and represent our position on critical national and Yoruba-related matters,” Hassan said.
The Yoruba Council urged all media outlets and stakeholders to direct all official statements, clarifications, and engagements to Adeyemi’s office going forward.
The statement also asked for continued cooperation and partnership in advancing national development, cultural dignity, and good governance.
