The Secretary of the Board of Trustees of McPherson University, Rev. Ibukun Odusote, has undertaken an official visit to the institution in Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State, as part of ongoing engagements within the university community.
Odusote, who was accompanied by the Vice Chancellor, Francis Igbasan, and the Registrar, Emi Alawode, toured key facilities within the institution, including the McPherson University Staff School.
At the Staff School, she was received by the Acting Director, Adeeko Kikelomo, and the School Secretary, Israel Olakanmi, who guided her through various sections of the facility. The visit featured interactions with pupils and classroom observations, providing an opportunity to assess ongoing teaching and learning activities.
Moving through classrooms and other learning spaces, Odusote evaluated the teaching environment and infrastructure, gaining firsthand insight into the school’s operational standards and overall learning conditions.
She commended the Vice Chancellor for the establishment of the Staff School, describing the initiative as a strategic intervention that enhances staff welfare while expanding access to quality education for children within the university community. She also lauded Igbasan’s leadership, noting his commitment to the institution’s continuous growth and development.
Expressing satisfaction with the quality of facilities and the conducive learning environment, Odusote urged the university to sustain its efforts in maintaining high standards across all levels of education.
