The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye, has said the outcome of Nigeria’s 2027 presidential election has already been determined by divine will.
Adeboye made the remark on Saturday during a workers’ meeting held at Redemption City, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, where he addressed concerns about the country’s political future.
According to the cleric, the process of choosing Nigeria’s next president ultimately lies beyond human control, stressing that God’s will would prevail regardless of political manoeuvring.
“The next president has already been decided by God who owns the universe. It is not something we can determine by human effort alone. The will of God will be done,” he said.
He urged Nigerians not to be anxious about unfolding political developments, emphasising that divine authority supersedes human decisions.
Adeboye added that faith and trust in God remain essential, especially as the country prepares for another electoral cycle, noting that the nation’s future rests in divine hands.
