The Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor on Legislative Matters, Aare Sooko Oladotun Hassan, and the Osun State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Oluwole Jimi Bada, have reaffirmed their support for the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
The endorsement came during a solidarity rally organised by the Jimi Bada Vanguards in Ile-Ife on Saturday, where party supporters, community leaders and stakeholders gathered to mobilise support for Adeleke’s bid for a second term in office.
The rally drew members of the Jimi Bada Vanguards, ward and unit executives, local government coordinators and supporters from across the state, with participants chanting “Four More Years” in support of the governor.
Among those present were the Osun State Commissioner for Political and Governmental Affairs, Biyi Odunlade; Special Adviser on Legislative Matters, Aare Sooko Oladotun Hassan; Accord Party House of Representatives aspirant for Ife Federal Constituency, Tosin Eluwole; and Taiwo Adebusola. Traditional rulers, led by the Sooko Wanisan of Ile-Ife, alongside community leaders and other stakeholders, also attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, Jimi Bada commended supporters for their loyalty to the Adeleke administration, describing the large turnout as a reflection of public confidence in the governor’s leadership.
He urged eligible voters to remain vigilant throughout the election period and ensure that every lawful vote counts, while emphasising the importance of unity among party supporters.
Speaking at the rally, Hassan called for intensified grassroots mobilisation across the state, describing Governor Adeleke’s administration as one that has prioritised the welfare of the people through people-centred governance.
He said a second term would enable the governor to consolidate ongoing developmental projects and further expand the administration’s development agenda across Osun State.
Other speakers at the event, including Tosin Eluwole, encouraged supporters to sustain the campaign momentum ahead of the poll, while Odunlade and Adebusola expressed confidence that the growing mobilisation would translate into victory at the governorship election.
