
The Nigeria Immigration Service has extended its Special Passport Intervention Exercise in the United Kingdom to October 3, 2026, following a high turnout of applicants in London and Manchester.
the NIS Service Public Relations Officer, DCI Akinsola Akinlabi in a post said The extension was approved in response to the high turnout and growing demand for the intervention exercise and is intended to provide additional capacity for as many eligible applicants as possible be attended to.
Applicants are required to present a completed application form and payment receipt, appointment slip, current passport where applicable, and a self-addressed return envelope at their scheduled appointments.
The Service reiterated that the passport application and payment processes are fully automated and strictly cashless.
