Senator Cyril Fasuyi, who represents Ekiti North Senatorial District, has been appointed Deputy Coordinator for Parliamentary Mobilisation, South West I, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council ahead of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
The appointment places Senator Fasuyi in a regional mobilisation role as the ruling party prepares for the next presidential election, with Vice President Kashim Shettima also seeking re-election alongside President Tinubu.
According to the inauguration schedule released by the APC National Secretariat, the Presidential Campaign Council is expected to be inaugurated on Wednesday, October 14, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, at 11:00 a.m.
Senator Fasuyi will serve alongside other party leaders, including Senator Abdulaziz Yari, who is listed as Director-General, and Senator Adams Oshiomhole, Deputy Director-General for Mobilisation.
The appointment is expected to strengthen the party’s parliamentary mobilisation efforts across the South-West as the APC begins preparations for the 2027 presidential election.
