The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mojisola Lasbat Meranda on Monday officially moved into the Office complex of the Speaker to reaffirm her authority following claims by her predecessor, Mudashiru Obasa that he remains Speaker.

Obasa, had over the weekend at the Speaker’s lodge faulted the process of his removal and denied allegations of corruption peddled against him.

The former Speaker who has been absent from Lagos since the crisis began was however warned in a statement by lawmakers not to foment trouble.
