The Board of Adamimogo Communications Limited has confirmed the appointment of Samuel Olugbeminiyi as substantive General Manager of Adamimogo 93.1FM, Lagos.
In a statement signed by the Chief Operating Officer, Babatunde Bamigboye, the board said the decision followed a review of Olugbeminiyi’s performance during his tenure in acting capacity.
The board urged him to lead with strength and humility while driving the station’s growth with creativity, professionalism and grace. His appointment takes effect from September 1, 2025.
Olugbeminiyi joined Adamimogo 93.1FM in November 2022 as Head of News and Current Affairs, where his performance earned him elevation to Assistant General Manager. He assumed the role of Acting General Manager on May 14, 2025.
An award-winning broadcast journalist with over a decade of experience in radio news, current affairs and content production, Olugbeminiyi began his career with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Ibadan. He later joined Voice FM, Ado-Ekiti, as one of its pioneer reporters, before moving to New Cruse FM, Ikere- Ekiti, where he rose to Deputy Head of News and Current Affairs, briefly serving as Acting Head before departing in 2022.
His work has been recognised with several honours, including Journalist of the Year in Ekiti State, and awards for Most Resourceful and Best Radio Reporter in the Southwest.
