The Senior Special Assistant in the Monitoring and Evaluation Office of Transformation and Service Delivery (OTSD), Pastor Tunji Aribasoye, says going beyond politics does not mean operating outside politics, but looking beyond political processes to consider how the nation can grow, particularly through youth participation.
Speaking on Adamimogo 107.7 FM’s current affairs programme, The Follow Up, Aribasoye said Nigeria is a prayerful nation, but no country can pray its way to prosperity without taking deliberate and practical steps towards development.
He who urged citizens, especially youths, to “level up” and take greater responsibility for national development, stressing that the task should not be left to government alone added that government must also create the right environment and provide support for citizens to contribute meaningfully.
Pastor Aribasoye also commended religious organisations for their positive contributions to society, saying their various interventions in communities remain important to the development of the country.
