The City Boy Movement has appointed former Super Eagles players Shehu Abdullahi and Kenneth Omeruo to leadership positions within its national structure.
The appointments were announced on Thursday by the movement’s National Director of Media Monitoring and Rapid Response, Bashir Ahmad, who is also a member of its National Working Committee.
Abdullahi was appointed National Deputy Director of Sports, while Omeruo was named National Assistant Director of Sports.
Announcing the appointments, Ahmad welcomed both former internationals to the organisation.
“At the City Boy Movement, we are delighted to welcome Shehu Abdullahi and Kenneth Omeruo to the movement,” he said.
“Shehu Abdullahi joins us as National Deputy Director of Sports, while Kenneth Omeruo takes on the role of National Assistant Director of Sports. Welcome onboard!”
Recall tht both players were members of Nigeria’s national team during their international careers, with Omeruo representing the Super Eagles at the 2014, 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cup cycles.
