The Lagos State Public Service Accelerator Programme (PSAP) Cohort II has concluded its “Pass-It-On Week,” an initiative designed to promote knowledge sharing, innovation and practical application of modern public administration skills across Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).

The exercise, held from August 12 to 14, 2026, enabled participants to move beyond classroom learning and engage directly with public servants and personnel in strategic institutions across Lagos State.

During the programme, 10 participant groups visited various MDAs to share knowledge, modern administrative strategies and specialised insights acquired during the early stages of the intensive accelerator programme.

The outreach covered key areas of governance and public service delivery, including environmental and infrastructure development, environment and water resources, public works, justice and regulation, among other sectors.

The Accelerator of PSAP Cohort II actively monitored and participated in the field visits to ensure that the knowledge-sharing activities aligned with the broader objective of building a dynamic, innovative and forward-thinking Lagos State public service.

Programme organisers said the initiative was built on the philosophy of transferring newly acquired skills and modern public administration frameworks directly to frontline workers and agency personnel.

They noted that the exercise helped strengthen internal capacity, promote collaboration among MDAs and encourage public servants to apply innovative approaches to service delivery.

With the conclusion of Pass-It-On Week, participants are expected to return to the programme with practical field experiences and deeper insights that will further enhance their contributions to efficient and effective public service delivery.

The PSAP organisers said the initiative reflects the Lagos State Government’s commitment to administrative excellence and supports the implementation of the THEMES+ Development Agenda towards achieving a Greater Lagos.
