Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, is to present newly acquired operational vehicles to security agencies in the state on Monday.
A statement released today by governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Olayinka Oyebode said the vehicles will be formally handed over to the heads of various security agencies at a ceremony at the Osuntokun Pavilion, Government House Grounds, Ado-Ekiti.
The state government says the vehicles are intended to provide security agencies with the logistics and operational support needed to tackle crime and strengthen security across Ekiti.
The statement added that the initiative was part of the administration’s continued investment in the safety and welfare of residents.
