Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday received Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs, Krzysztof Gawkowski, at Lagos House, Marina, where both leaders discussed opportunities for collaboration in the digital economy.
According to the governor, the meeting focused on the future of the digital economy and the potential benefits of partnership between Lagos State and Poland in areas of innovation, technology, and digital infrastructure.
Sanwo-Olu stated that Lagos remains Nigeria’s commercial and digital hub, driven by a youthful and innovative population eager to embrace technology and entrepreneurship.
He added that his administration is committed to building the necessary infrastructure to attract investment and ensure sustainable economic growth in the state.
“We are open and ready to work with partners who share our vision for the future,” the governor said.
The visit highlights ongoing efforts by the Lagos State Government to strengthen international partnerships and position the state as a leading technology and innovation center in Africa.
