Former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Tuesday held a closed-door meeting with Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, as political consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum.
Obi arrived at the Oyo State Government House in Ibadan in the company of some Igbo elders and lawmakers identified as African Democratic Congress (ADC) senators from the South-East, alongside other political associates.
According to him, his visit is to consult the governor, following a joint opposition summit held in Ibadan, where stakeholders agreed on plans to present a single presidential candidate for the 2027 elections.
