The founder of Christ Apostolic Church Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, has called for a more coordinated and layered approach to tackling Nigeria’s security challenges, saying the country requires stronger collaboration at different levels of governance.

The cleric made the remarks during the grand finale of this year’s Exodus Ayajo Majemu programme, where he stressed the need for collective action among stakeholders in addressing the nation’s security concerns.

According to Prophet Sam, security architecture in the country should be organised across local, state and federal levels to strengthen information sharing and improve cooperation among agencies and relevant authorities.

He argued that a more structured system would enhance coordination and create a more effective response to threats affecting communities across the country.

Beyond security issues, the religious leader also urged Nigerians to actively participate in the 2027 general elections, cautioning against political apathy.

He warned that fear arising from insecurity or dissatisfaction with governance should not discourage citizens from participating in the democratic process, noting that low voter turnout often works in favour of politicians who do not represent the interests of the people.

Prophet Sam maintained that citizens have a responsibility to determine the quality of leadership they get through their participation in elections, adding that disengagement from the electoral process weakens public influence over governance.

He further stressed that meaningful representation can only emerge when voters actively exercise their civic responsibility.
