The Lagos State governor and Chairman of the South-West Governors Forum, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on his victory in the governorship election.

In a congratulatory message by his  Adviser on Media and Publicity,  Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Olu also commended the electorate for the peaceful conduct of the election

He described Oyebanji’s landslide victory as a reflection of the governor’s popularity and the confidence reposed in him by the people of Ekiti State.

Sanwo-Olu said the outcome of the poll was a reward for good governance and the delivery of democratic dividends during Oyebanji’s first term in office.

He  expressed optimism that the renewed mandate would further strengthen the APC’s position in the South-West and provide an opportunity for Oyebanji to deepen development initiatives across Ekiti State.
