The remains of Pastor (Engr.) Wole Ayanniyi Ayanrinde were laid to rest on Thursday as family members, church leaders, professional colleagues, friends and well-wishers gathered at RCCG Jesus Embassy, Oke Bola, Dugbe, Ibadan, to celebrate a life marked by faith, service and professional excellence.
The funeral service featured hymns, prayers, Bible readings, tributes, a sermon and a thanksgiving session in honour of a man whose influence extended beyond the church into academia, engineering and the wider society.
Tributes poured in from various speakers who described the late pastor and engineer as a compassionate mentor, dependable leader and devoted family man whose life was characterised by humility, generosity and an unwavering commitment to helping others achieve their potential.
His brothers, Mr. Bamidele Ayanrinde and Mr. Opeyemi Ayanrinde, paid glowing tributes to him, recalling his dedication to uplifting people, supporting colleagues and serving God faithfully throughout his lifetime. They noted that his impact would continue to resonate through the many lives he touched.
For his wife and children, the occasion was one of profound grief but also deep gratitude for what they described as a life well lived. They remembered him as a loving husband, caring father, trusted counsellor and steadfast pillar of support whose wisdom, discipline and unwavering faith left an enduring impression on those closest to him.

Born on June 16, 1973, Pastor Ayanrinde built a distinguished career as a mechanical engineer, educator and administrator. Despite his professional achievements, he remained deeply committed to Christian ministry, dedicating much of his life to serving God and impacting lives through teaching, counselling and leadership.
