The remains of Pastor (Engr.) Wole Ayanniyi Ayanrinde were laid to rest on Thursday as family members, church leaders, professional colleagues, friends and well-wishers gathered at RCCG Jesus Embassy, Oke Bola, Dugbe, Ibadan, to celebrate a life marked by faith, service and professional excellence.

The funeral service featured hymns, prayers, Bible readings, tributes, a sermon and a thanksgiving session in honour of a man whose influence extended beyond the church into academia, engineering and the wider society.

Tributes poured in from various speakers who described the late pastor and engineer as a compassionate mentor, dependable leader and devoted family man whose life was characterised by humility, generosity and an unwavering commitment to helping others achieve their potential.

His brothers, Mr. Bamidele Ayanrinde and Mr. Opeyemi Ayanrinde, paid glowing tributes to him, recalling his dedication to uplifting people, supporting colleagues and serving God faithfully throughout his lifetime. They noted that his impact would continue to resonate through the many lives he touched.

For his wife and children, the occasion was one of profound grief but also deep gratitude for what they described as a life well lived. They remembered him as a loving husband, caring father, trusted counsellor and steadfast pillar of support whose wisdom, discipline and unwavering faith left an enduring impression on those closest to him.

The family expressed confidence that the values he upheld and the legacy he established would continue to guide and inspire future generations.

Following the church service, the late pastor was committed to mother earth in the presence of family members, friends and associates. As hymns of hope filled the atmosphere, mourners offered prayers for strength and comfort for the bereaved family while reflecting on a life devoted to service and humanity.

Many who attended the ceremony described Pastor Ayanrinde as a rare blend of spiritual devotion and professional accomplishment, noting that he excelled in both ministry and his engineering career while maintaining a passion for mentoring young people.

Born on June 16, 1973, Pastor Ayanrinde built a distinguished career as a mechanical engineer, educator and administrator. Despite his professional achievements, he remained deeply committed to Christian ministry, dedicating much of his life to serving God and impacting lives through teaching, counselling and leadership.
