The All Progressives Congress, APC, says it is confident of winning the Osun State governorship election, pledging to mobilise voters and canvass support across the state for its candidate.
A member of the APC Digital Media Campaign Team, Hon. Olalekan Oni, said the party would focus on numbers and intensify its campaign to convince Osun residents of what its candidate would deliver if elected.
Oni dismissed reports of division within the APC, saying Senator Iyiola Omisore has publicly maintained that he remains a member of the party, while those who left did so on their own.
He also said the EFCC’s freezing of the Osun State Government account may have generated sympathy for Governor Ademola Adeleke on social media, but would not determine the election outcome.

The APC chieftain further criticised the state government’s handling of security, accusing it of failing to do enough to protect residents. He assured that the party would support efforts to maintain peace and work with security agencies to prevent violence before and during the election.
