A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji, has accused the state government of politicising insecurity instead of using security agencies to protect lives and property.
In an interview with Adamimogo FM, Lagos, Ayantunji while speaking on the upcoming governorship election, said the APC in Osun State remains united and prepared for the poll, adding that residents are ready to make their choice at the ballot box.
He noted that the party’s defeat in the previous election was partly due to internal divisions and alleged moles within its ranks. According to him, the APC has addressed some of its internal challenges and is now stronger and better prepared for the coming election.
On the performance of Governor Ademola Adeleke, Ayantunji acknowledged that the governor had recorded some achievements but argued that they were not enough.
He said the impact of the administration should be more visible and tangible to the people of the state.
