The Olorunda Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has officially opened applications for its 2026 Bursary Award for eligible students across the council area.
The programme is open to students pursuing BSc, HND, ND and NCE programmes, as well as postgraduate studies.
Application Requirements
Interested applicants are required to complete the online application form and upload clear copies of the following documents:
- Admission Letter
- School Identity Card
- Passport Photograph
- National Identification Number (NIN)
- Letter of Identification from the Oba
- LASRRA Card or other identification
- Identification Letter from Olorunda LCDA
Each uploaded document must not exceed 1MB and should be submitted in PDF or JPG format.
Applicants have been advised to ensure that all documents are clear and legible. Only one application per applicant will be accepted.
Application Deadline
The application portal opened on Monday, August 24, 2026, and will close on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Physical Screening Scheduled for September 7–9
Applicants shortlisted for the next stage will participate in a physical screening exercise scheduled for September 7 to 9, 2026.
Those attending the screening are required to present the following:
- Current Academic Result
- Admission Letter
- School Identity Card
- Evidence of Indigeneship through a Letter from the Oba
- NIN
- Passport Photograph
The council urged applicants to ensure they have all required documents before appearing for the screening, stressing that incomplete documentation will not be accepted.
Council Urges Eligible Students to Apply
The Olorunda LCDA encouraged all eligible students to take advantage of the bursary opportunity and complete their applications before the September 1 deadline.
